Started from a small corner in our backyard
Welcome to The Difference Corner
At The Difference Corner, we believe that a home is more than just a living space—it is a personal gallery of your life, taste, and memories. Based in the UK, our studio is dedicated to curating a unique lifestyle aesthetic through original photography wall art and handcrafted upcycled home decor.
Original Photography: Windows to the World Every fine art print in our collection is an original capture, born from a deep appreciation of contrast, light, and the poetry of everyday life. From the restorative serenity of the British countryside to the vibrant, colliding eras of Tokyo's streets, our wall art is thoughtfully curated to bring a breath of fresh air and cinematic elegance into your modern interior.
Handcrafted Decor: History Reimagined We also believe in the irreplaceable beauty of time. Our upcycled home decor line focuses on sourcing historical, vintage objects—such as traditional wooden brick moulds—and reimagining them into creative, functional lifestyle pieces. Each item is carefully restored, modified, and handcrafted in our studio, ensuring that a fragment of history is beautifully preserved to serve a new purpose in your home.
Our Philosophy Whether it is a serene landscape adorning your wall or a vintage handmade , everything we create shares a single purpose: to bring art, history, and a distinct touch of soul into your everyday life.
We love combining traditional woodworking techniques with a modern, minimalist aesthetic to create small furniture and objects that feel both warm and unique.
For our wooden creations, we use sustainably sourced solid wood — including oak, walnut, ash, and reclaimed timber. Each piece is hand-selected, hand-finished, and crafted with attention to detail in our backyard corner in Warrington.
We work primarily with carefully selected fine art papers and high-quality archival materials for our photo prints, ensuring vibrant colors and long-lasting quality.
